GLOBAL – SOUTH AFRICA: YGAP stats for 2012 – 2019

The IFWEA Youth Global Awareness Programme (YGAP) is a much anticipated annual exposure and exchange programme for young staff members of IFWEA affiliates and the labour organisations who are the beneficiaries of their services.

The two-week immersive programme is an integral part of the drive to build a global knowledge community of worker educators and labour organisers.

We take a brief overview of who has attended the programme in the years 2012 to 2019:

Gender:
Out of 169 participants in this period, 109 have been females and 60 have been males.

Ages:

18 – 25: 41

25 – 30: 47

30 – 35: 45

Above 30: 14
