| October 2011 (460 kB) Two major events in South Africa are fast approaching; the COP 17 Climate Conference in Durban and the IFWEA General Conference in Cape Town. The October e-bulletin focuses on climate change by analysing the myth of unlimited growth within limited systems, featuring peices on how labour prepares for COP 17 and the One Million Climate Jobs Campaign. The bulletin also draws our attention to two specific labour struggles - the Hungarian Trade Unions Unity of Action and the Unionised Child Labourers of Bolivia. |

| August 2011 (176 kB) The August E-Bulletin marks the count-down to the 2011 General Conference in Cape Town with peices on the upcomming Climate Change Workshop and development of the IFWEA Online Academy for Labour Educators. We welcome a new staff member and two new interns at a time of great distress - our deepest condolences to the members of our Indian and Norwegian affiliates as well as the entire population of the countries affected by the bombings and shootings. |

| July 2011 (33 kB) Good news for IFWEA affiliates! Category 4 affiliates with paid up membership fees by August 2011 will be exempted from conference cost to the General Conference. The E-bulletin releases the first of the General Conference Workshop teasers to come, applaudes the adoption of the ILO Convention Concerning Decent Work for Domestic Workers and invites you to start up your organizations website with our free website licences and easy start-up guide. |
