Here is a presentation of us in Södertälje Sweden.
We are 7 members in our study circle. In the first session were 4 people attended. All of us are working at Scania AB in Södertälje Sweden.
We all work full time for the local trade union called "Scania Verkstadsklubb". What we are working with can you read in our personal
presentation.
Scania is one of Sweden's largest international companies. Our company is producing all sorts of lorries and heavy trucks for transporting.
Södertälje is a small town 40 kilometres from Stockholm – the capital of Sweden.
Every one of us has some experience of TNCs because we are working in one TNC company and we are having several TNCs in our town.

Stefan Carlquist – I am a married 36-year-old man with 3 children. I am living in a 4-room apartment in an aria called Hovsjö were there are living many nationalities. I work full time for the local trade union at Scania. I am working with information and insurances for our members in the trade union. One of my interests in life is to communicate with people around the world with my computer. I have been using Internet for 4 years now. I am facilitator of our study circle in Södertälje, Sweden.
Märtha Dahlberg – She is a 43-year-oldjgjj girl living in a small house in an aria 15 kilometres outside Södertälje called Nykvarn. She has two kids one girl and one boy. The girl is named Linda, she is 18 years old. The boy is named Lars and he is 12 years old. She is working full time for the union. For the local trade union she is a negotiator and for the branch branch she is working with education for the union members. In here free time she is working with politics. She is the chairman of the border in the society Nykvarn. She is an active member of the social democratic party.
Hans Olav Ottershagen – He is a 31 year old boy. He has been growing up in Norway but he has moved to Sweden in 1989. Now he is
living in an aria called Saltskog in Södertälje.
He is chairman for a small group of members in one part of our company called Södra växellådan.
He is also working with education for the union members. On the free time he is interested in politics and he is active in the social democratic
party. Other interests are chess, computers and to be with his friends.
Bengt Perman – He is 46 years old. He has a family with a wife and 2 boys. He is living in a 4-room apartment in a new aria in Södertälje
called Lina.
He is chairman for a large group of members in one part of our company called Motorverkstaden. He is working with insurances and local
negotiations for his members at Motorverkstaden. He is also a chairman for a small aid organisation called Tolvskillingshjälpen. They raise
founds from all the employees at Scania in Sweden. Then they use them in Aid project for children around the world.
There should have been 3 other people with us in the study circle but they could not come this session. They have to introduce them self in next summary.
Their names are:
Tommy Bäcklund – He is in Vietnam this week to teach about Union-organisations.
Kjell Wallin – He is on a course about company development.
Anna Lena Martinsson – She is on a course to learn the sign language
We see this project as a chance to learn more how TNCs influences in countries around the world.
We want to learn how other unions are working in other countries.
We see forward for next session
