LARSSON Tord
Profession: Building Attendant
Trade Union: The Metal Workers´ Union.
Unemployed for quite some time.

SAMUELSSON Peter
Profession: Mechanical Installer
Trade Union: The Union for Service and Communication.
Employer: The Local Communication and Transport Company (Underground department). Safety supervisor and participating in the development of the Company`s Safety Organisation.

SANDELL Karl-Erik.
Profession: Telecommunication Installer.
Trade Union: The Metal Workers` Union.
Unemployed for the last five years.

SILBERGERG Laine.
Profession: Reservation supervisor:
Trade Union: The Salaried Employees` Union.
Employer: Air India.

WOHLIN Torsten.
Profession: Project Leader (IT).
Trade Union: Swedish Union of Local Government Officers.
Employer: Local Government of Sundbyberg City.

We are indeed interested in learning more about the TNC:s and the different cultures in which these big companies are operating. We will also address the problem of finding the future role to be played by the Trade Unions, in particular in their relations to the TNC:s. On top of that we will participate in the build-up of a network of international contacts

We have been through the Session One part of the Manual.In addition we have also collected some documents about the TNC:s as follows:

• B. Trade Union Movement and the Multinational Enterprises (Report to the 1976 Congress och the Swedish Trade Union Federation)

• D. Code of Conduct for Multinational Enterprises (OECD 1977)
• E. Group of Experts: "European Systems of Workers´Involvement (Final report 1997, European Commission, EU)
• F. International Enterprises and Foreign-owned Enterprises in Sweden (Extracts from the Report on Swedish Industry adnd Industrial Policy, 1997, issued by the Swedish Board for Industrial and Technical Deelopment,NUTEK
