[Prepatory meeting] [Session1] [Session 2] [Session 3] [Session 4] [Session 5] [Session 6]

* Session 3 took place in Paris on Thursday March 26th...

* 12 persons were present.

* I first presented a summary from the E-mails of Alana and the others ISC. Everybody was very interested in but regretted that there were not very much direct communication between the ISC ; but it is too our fault ! ... and my fault because the report for session 2 has been distributed late via E-mail... and never on the ISC Web site !

* We read in circle a French review about the structural adjustment plans (SAP) that we criticised very much (especially our African attendants !), because it was neglectful of the negative consequences of  PAJ on people everyday life. Populations.

This conversation was very important for our collective understanding of IMF and World Bank.

We insisted about the benefit the TNCs take in privatisation imposed by SAP.

* Joel JAMET presented, at last an overview of European Works Councils, their interest and their limits in TNCs. And we dreamed about a world wide Labour Right and world wide Human Rights...

* We also read in circle some of the examples of fights of workers in TNCs that we have found in the materials from Euro-WEA.

The session 4 took place on April 9th.

To be continued...

Jean-Dominique
