1. The experiences of workplace change in other countries (45 minutes)

Read the reports which have been sent by the study circles in other countries. Discuss what is similiar and what is different to workplace changes in your country, and the effects on workers and trade unions.

2. What is globalisation? (1 hour)

The group should read collectively the article on "What is globalisation?". Then discuss the following question:

3. Communicating with other study circles (15 minutes)

Discuss the report which you would like to send to other study circles. Give a clear description of the features of globalisation in your country. The report should be sent by email to TSL in Finland by 4 March 1999.
