Activities 

1. Organising in TNCs (45 minutes)

Read the reports sent by study circles in other countries. Discuss the proposals which they have made regarding organising in TNCs.

2. An Action Plan for Asia (1 hour)

Consider the Action Plan which was drawn up by the ICFTU-APRO in Singapore. Discuss:

• Does this Plan adequately address the problems faced by workers in Asia?

• What would you include in an Action Plan for the Asian region?

3. Evaluating the ISC Programme (45 minutes)

Discuss collectively the following questions:

• What did you like and not like about the study circle programme?
• What did you like about the education materials, and what were the problems?
• What did you learn from the exchange between the different countries?
• In what other ways did you benefit from the ISC programme?
• What suggestions do you have for how you can continue to build links in the region?
• How will you take what you have learnt in the ISC programme back into your union?
